Are Plasma TVs Any Good?
Plasma TVs are a relatively new invention, and as every new invention, they are supposed to be better than their predecessors. Plasma screens are made of thousands pixels (red, green, and blue) that are electrically charged by argon, neon, and xenon gases. This whole combination generates light, and as a result the final picture. Plasma TVs have many advantages: they offer good pricing for their quality, and they have the biggest flexibility when it comes to seeing the screen from many different angles. Definitely, the biggest advantage of plasma TVs is its superior color saturation, great black levels, and mentioned by me earlier wide viewing angles. However, there are also some cons. Plasma TVs do not last as long compared to other types of TV, and there is a risk of potential pixel problems. It is also important to understand the difference between Plasma TVs and LCD TVs. Plasma TVs usually come in larger sizes, better motion tracking, better color accuracy, and saturation. On the other hand, LCD screens allow for a cooler running temperature, no high attitude issues, no burn-in of static images, and increased image brightness. While all of this might sound complicated, I hope that you will remember at least some of the points I have made here.
