Intel is the world’s largest company that produces processors. This corporation not only is the largest supplier of processors for home and office PCs, but also when it comes to small, portable Internet devices. This might change in the future, as Arm and Texas Instruments plan to promote the use of their chips, which are already quite popular with smartphones. What is interesting is that a whole new market is emerging on our eyes – the market of MIDs, which stands for mobile Internet devices. Those devices include small tablet PCS, Pocket PCs, mini laptops, and even some smartphones. All of them have the possibility to connect to the Internet, and all of them are mobile so they do not weight a lot.
