What would you have done differently if you had to start your blog again? I think that it is a quite interesting question; and I am sure that each blogger would come up with a different answer. Nonetheless, I think that there are some common mistakes that a lot of new blogger make. I would like to list some of them in my post. I hope that this way future bloggers might be able to avoid them. Here they are:

-Caring more about the template than about the content. In case of blogs, the most important thing is content so make sure you put some work into writing your articles. While a template might be important, it is not nearly as important as quality content. The most important thing when it comes to your template is that it should allow your visitors to find articles very quickly.
-Writing too much about yourself. In case of personal blogs this may not be such a bad idea; however, most visitors are surfing the Web to find some useful information. If your blog is supposed to contain useful information, then try to focus on the topic of your blog.
-Having too high expectations. Building a successful blog takes time, so you should be patient. Having too high expectations might discourage you from blogging. Having realistic expectations is very important.
