Music for Free

People listen to music when they want to relax and when they want some entertainment. Music is a universal language and if you look around you, music is everywhere. It would be great if music was completely free. Can it be possible? It may surprise you, but it is already possible in countries like China. Basically, the way that artists and music labels get paid is by ad money. They earn money whenever someone clicks on ads on sites that host music, and this way they can earn money without actually selling music. I do not think that the Western World will adopt this approach in the near future, because as long as consumers are happy to pay for each CD or track, there is no reason to change anything.
