Paying for Online Games
Today’s community of online gamers is divided into two categories. It includes those who pay to play online games like MMOs, and those who choose not to spend even one cent and want to play only for free. There are many gamers in both categories, and each of them have their own reasons why they chose to play pay-to-play games or free-to-play games.
Some might be wondering why many gamers recommend to stay away from free-to-play games. There are exceptions to this rule; however, most gamers prefer the community of pay-to-play games. Generally speaking, free-to-play games are not as high quality as pay-to-play games like, for example, World of Warcraft. Additionally speaking, there is always some kind of cash shop involved where players are encouraged to buy items that will enhance their gaming experience, and will give them the edge over the others. Free games usually have more hackers and cheaters and game masters do not seem to care about it that much. That is the case with many games like, for example, RF Online which was a good game, but its developers abandoned it completely. Free games also tend to have a short lifespan, as some of them get canceled soon after release.
