Selling a Blog
Many websites can cost quite a lot of money. Did you ever consider selling your blog? How much do you think it is worth? Would you like to know for how much popular blogs are being sold for? I have some interesting data I would like to present to you. Below is the list of a few popular blogs that were sold some time ago:

You have to admit that these blogs got sold for quite a lot of money, and the bloggers themselves were probably quite happy to earn so much cash. Of course, the reason that these blogs cost so much is because they have a lot of traffic, many links pointing to them, and the authors of these blogs are well known in the blogosphere. An average blogger would probably have a hard time to sell his blog for even a few hundred dollars. Naturally, most bloggers would not be willing to sell their blog at all. After all, it is not that easy to establish a blog and most blogs have many valuable articles listed under various categories.
Anyway, it looks to me that developing a blog and then selling it is becoming another way to make money online. It is always interesting to me to observe various trends that are present in the blogosphere. Nonetheless, establishing a successful blog is not as easy as it sounds and that is why not many people will be establishing blogs with the intention to sell them later.
