Everyone once in a while needs at least a small dose of humor. Life without laughing is not any fun and it can be very stressful. Some time ago, while browsing through the Internet I came across a website that organized an interesting contest. The contest was about users submitting funny stories. I thought to myself that I would encourage my readers to organize a similar contest on their own website. The decision is up to you, but you may wish to use the following guidelines:

1. Make sure that you tell your readers that they have a chance to win something attractive. Make sure you specify what exactly is the reward for winning the contest.
2. Ask them to share a real story, but if that is not possible you may encourage them share a funny story of someone else.

Organizing such a contest will make your readers more interested in visiting your blog, because they will know that many funny stories are going to be submitted. Because of this, you might even receive many backlinks. You may even encourage your readers to subscribe to your RSS feed. Is there any funny story that comes to your mind that you would like to share with others? Of course, you may also decide to organize a slightly different type of content. You can ask your readers to share various stories:

-A story with a moral or a funny punch line.
-Favorite motivational quote.
-A story of someone overcoming the odds.
-A reminder of what is worth fighting for, and why it is worth it.
-A story that reminds others that they are not alone in the struggle to make a difference, trying to make the world a better place.

As you see, there are many ideas that you can use, and it is completely up to you.
