Telephones
Telephones play an important part in our lives and I think that I do not have to convince anyone of this fact. Fifty years ago the situation was different, but these days people use phones all the time. How many times per week do you use your phone? Probably a lot. While a typical person might use a simple phone or a mobile phone, companies may have bigger needs. Some of them require sophisticated phone systems and they may be interested in many features that a regular person would not have interest in. Anyway, why did phones become so popular in the first place? That is a good question and there is no easy answer. Probably one of the reasons is that they allow people to communicate a lot faster, than they could otherwise. Sending letters is still used for documents or other important information, but phone calls are a lot more popular than they ever were. Is it not exciting that a typical person can talk to anyone in the world without even leaving the couch?
