YouTube and Copyright Problems

YouTube is the world’s largest video hosting site. There are thousands of videos added each day, so you can imagine how many videos there are in total. The problem that YouTube is facing is of copyright nature. Many YouTube users upload clips of TV shows and movies that are copyrighted, and in turn YouTube is often blamed for hosting them. Should YouTube be blamed for what its users are doing? It is hard to say, however, I noticed that YouTube is removing copyright videos on a regular basis. The problem is that there are so many video being added, that it is quite hard to spot them before many people will already see the video. In my opinion, YouTube should reward regular users for spotting copyright content as it is impossible to monitor all of the videos just by YouTube employees.
